Rolfes of Walsham
Our premises on The Street in Walsham le Willows has been the location of a butchers for over 130 years. Paul Hubbard, the current owner, has run Rolfes of Walsham for the last twelve years (since April 2001). We’re now seven staff strong, and remain true to traditional butchering methods. Whenever possible, which it is for most things, we source our produce locally.
You can expect consistently high quality naturally reared meats and other quality fresh produce throughout the year from us. And, a few things you might not expect from a butchers (newspapers, flowers, a prescriptions pick up service …).
We were awarded Suffolk’s Best Butcher 2007 by the East Anglian Daily Times’ Suffolk Food and Drink Awards.

Annual event: Charity Food and Wine Tasting Day
In support of the St. Nicholas Hospice.
One Sunday in October/November each year, we and Wattisfield Wines hold an informal food and wine tasting day at Haughley Park Barn near Stowmarket, Suffolk (just off the A14) to which everyone is welcome.
All proceeds of the event go to the St. Nicholas Hospice in Bury St. Edmunds who provide palliative care (alleviates suffering rather than curing) to people facing serious illness, and support for their family and friends.
A wide selection of cooked meats, both hot and cold, including roasts are available. Also cheeses and pies. Plus over 60 different wines. Live music.
Check back here nearer the time for specific details. Tickets will be available from us and Wattisfield Wines.
