About Rolfes of Walsham
Our traditional butchers shop has been running on The Street in Walsham Le Willows for over 130 years.
2018 saw a busy year for Rolfes Butchers, opening up a second butchers shop in Elmswell, carrying with it all of our original ethics of traditional butchery methods, fresh, high quality produce and customer service.
With fresh bread delivered daily, homemade pies cooked each morning and seasonal goodies available throughout the year, we are so much more than just your average butchers shop, and always aim to provide a personal service to all of our customers.
We pride ourselves in low food miles as well as knowing the provenance of all that we sell. We cure and smoke all of our own bacon and ham, make a wide selection of handmade pies, sausage rolls and pasties, and much more. Rolfe’s Of Walsham is also known for our home crafted seasonal goodies including, Suffolk Pork Cheese, own smoked salmon and homemade Christmas puddings and mince pies.

Annual Food Event
Charity Food and Wine Tasting Day
In support of the St. Nicholas Hospice; One Sunday in October/November each year, we and Wattisfield Wines hold an informal food and wine tasting day at Haughley Park Barn near Stowmarket, Suffolk (just off the A14) to which everyone is welcome.
All proceeds of the event go to the St. Nicholas Hospice in Bury St. Edmunds who provide palliative care (alleviates suffering rather than curing) to people facing serious illness, and support for their family and friends.
A wide selection of cooked meats, both hot and cold, including roasts are available. Also cheeses and pies. Plus over 60 different wines and live music!
Check back here nearer the time for specific details. Tickets will be available from us and Wattisfield Wines.
