About Rolfes of Walsham

_

Our traditional butchers shop has been running on The Street in Walsham Le Willows for over 130 years.

Since 2001 Paul Hubbard has been ensuring that Rolfes of Walsham has stayed true to traditional butchery methods, providing the highest quality meat, sourced locally and ethically.

2018 saw a busy year for Rolfes Butchers, opening up a second butchers shop in Elmswell, carrying with it all of our original ethics of traditional butchery methods, fresh, high quality produce and customer service.

Rolfes Butchers also specialise in high quality produce and groceries, stocking brands including Stokes, Tracklements and specialty wines and spirits.

With fresh bread delivered daily, homemade pies cooked each morning and seasonal goodies available throughout the year, we are so much more than just your average butchers shop, and always aim to provide a personal service to all of our customers.

Rolfes Butchers also specialise in providing bespoke catering for events such as corporate days, private and public parties, and your special wedding day menu.

We pride ourselves in low food miles as well as knowing the provenance of all that we sell. We cure and smoke all of our own bacon and ham, make a wide selection of handmade pies, sausage rolls and pasties, and much more. Rolfe’s Of Walsham is also known for our home crafted seasonal goodies including, Suffolk Pork Cheese, own smoked salmon and homemade Christmas puddings and mince pies.

In support of the St. Nicholas Hospice; One Sunday in October/November each year, we and Wattisfield Wines hold an informal food and wine tasting day at Haughley Park Barn near Stowmarket, Suffolk (just off the A14) to which everyone is welcome.

All proceeds of the event go to the St. Nicholas Hospice in Bury St. Edmunds who provide palliative care (alleviates suffering rather than curing) to people facing serious illness, and support for their family and friends.

A wide selection of cooked meats, both hot and cold, including roasts are available. Also cheeses and pies. Plus over 60 different wines and live music!

Check back here nearer the time for specific details. Tickets will be available from us and Wattisfield Wines.
